After conducting a non-binding project analysis, it became apparent that equipping the headquarters in Hamburg with vilisto’s self-learning thermostats would make sense. vilisto predicted a high savings potential based on the usage and construction situation. The installation of the owner-occupied space was implemented in December 2019 and took only a few hours. After a short learning phase, the intelligent individual room control system from vilisto learned the usage patterns of the individual rooms and accordingly heated them only as needed. Thus, weather-adjusted energy savings of 27.5% were generated in 2020. Following the successful initial project, further existing buildings are now to be equipped with the vilisto control system.
