The HÜBNER Group is significantly reducing energy consumption at its headquarters in Kassel. This is made possible by digital, self-learning radiator thermostats from the company vilisto. 260 self-learning thermostats were installed in December 2020 to equip the Kassel headquarters building at Heinrich-Hertz-Strasse 6. Due to the good cooperation and continuous implementation of additional optimisations, the company will now equip further buildings with vilisto’s digital heat management.

Result

In 2021, HÜBNER was able to reduce energy consumption in the main building by 21 per cent with the help of vilisto. Compared to the previous year, this resulted in approximately 19 tons less carbon dioxide (CO2) being emitted. Thanks to integrated presence detection, the vilisto thermostats only heat when a room is actually occupied. As soon as it is empty, the temperature is automatically lowered.
