Our application process

It is important to us that we get to know each other well during the application process. For a successful long-term collaboration, we pay particular attention to a good fit in terms of values and mindset. Therefore, at vilisto, you will go through a three-step process: an initial quick call of 10-15 minutes with someone from our People & Culture team, a 30-60 minute get-to-know-you with someone from the department either on-site or remotely, and finally we’ll invite you to join us in our office for a few practical tasks. In individual cases, we will also ask you to provide us with a reference contact in the end.


You can submit your application using our application form. You will find the form within the positions on our job page and it will appear as soon as you click on “I’m interested”.

If you send your application by email, it may take longer to process as we are primarily focusing on our recruiting tool.

Yes, all positions advertised on the website are still vacant.

To keep the process as short as possible, we try to respond to your application as quickly as possible. We usually need a maximum of 1 week for this.

With your application, we initially only need your CV. When you sign the contract, we will also need your diplomas. Whether you write a cover letter and send us your references is up to you.

As soon as a position is online on our job portal, we can generally fill it at short notice. It is very important to us to find the right people for the positions and our team, which is why we are patient even with longer notice periods.

You can withdraw your application at any time and thus end the application process from your side. To do so, send us an e-mail to jobs@vilisto.de stating that you are withdrawing your application.

No, we have no application deadlines. As long as the vacancy is on our website, it is still open and you can apply.

We have no dress code in the office or in the application process. It is important to us that you feel comfortable and that works best when you can be yourself.

If you are not employed, your data will be automatically deleted after 3 months in accordance with the GDPR (DSGVO).

The People & Culture team, in particular our recruiters Lutz and Anne, will have access to your application. Your CV and all relevant documents will also be forwarded to the responsible person in the department.

The main purpose of the interviews is to give both sides an authentic first impression and to get to know each other better on both a personal and professional level. We focus on you as a person with your values, your motivation and your skills.

In the first interview, we focus on the general conditions. For example, we are interested in when you can start with us, what your motivation is and what your salary expectations are. In the further stages, our recruiters are accompanied by people from the specialist department. We aim to find out, among other things, whether we are a professional match. While we talk to you about the specialist knowledge you need in the 30-minute interview, we want to give you a realistic insight into the job during the Hospitation. With 2-3 small tasks, we get an impression of how you work and you get an insight into your future working day.

Yes, you can either use the application form for the corresponding position or let us know in a short comment in your application which position we should also consider you for.

You can send us a proactive application via our application form. In this case, please describe in a short cover letter in which area you would like to use your strengths at vilisto and which tasks you are particularly interested in.

It is entirely up to you who you address your application to and is not taken into account in the selection process. Lutz and Anne are often addressed as recruiters, the People & Culture Team or the entire vilisto team.
