The municipal utilities of Weißwasser (official name: Stadtwerke Weißwasser) supply around 15,000 residents of the city of Weißwasser with electricity, gas and district heating. The energy supplier always keeps an eye on the future and environmental protection and is increasingly focusing on renewable energies and combined heat and power concepts. The municipal utilities of Weißwasser rely on vilisto to improve its own CO2 footprint.
Since 2021, 87 intelligent radiator thermostats have been regulating energy consumption in the main building of Weißwasser municipal utilities automatically and according to demand. Scientific calculations show that the company saves 18.2 percent of heating energy every year as a result. That means, the digital heat management reduces heating costs by 1,921 euros and CO2 emissions by 9.5 tons per year.
The installation of vilisto's self-learning radiator thermostats has been a complete success for us. The increase in our energy efficiency was only associated with minimal effort and yet brings very satisfactory savings results.
