Weißwasser Public Utilities

Project
Stadtwerke Weißwasser supplies approximately 15,000 residents of the city of Weißwasser with electricity, gas, and district heating. The energy provider always keeps the future and environmental protection in mind and is increasingly focusing on renewable energy sources and combined heat and power solutions. To improve its own carbon footprint, Stadtwerke Weißwasser relies on vilisto.
Since 2021, 87 smart radiator thermostats have been automatically regulating energy consumption in the main building of Stadtwerke Weißwasser based on demand. Scientific calculations show that the company saves 18.2 percent in heating energy annually as a result. Thanks to digital heat management, heating costs are reduced by 1,921 euros and CO2 emissions by 9.5 metric tons per year.
*Forecast values based on weather-adjusted heat metering in accordance with VDI 3807 & 4710 under constant framework conditions.
