Project
The HÜBNER Group is significantly reducing energy consumption at its headquarters in Kassel. This is made possible by digital, self-learning radiator thermostats from vilisto. In December 2020, 260 self-learning thermostats were installed in the main building at Heinrich-Hertz-Straße 6 in Kassel. Due to the good cooperation and continuous implementation of additional optimizations, the company will now equip further buildings with vilisto’s digital heat management system.
In 2021, HÜBNER was able to reduce energy consumption in the main building by 21 percent with the help of vilisto. Compared to the previous year, around 19 tons less carbon dioxide (CO2) were emitted as a result. Thanks to integrated presence detection, the vilisto thermostats only heat when a room is actually occupied. As soon as it is empty, the temperature is automatically lowered.

HÜBNER consistently pursues the statutory energy saving targets and in some cases even exceeds them. As part of our innovation management, we regularly work together with pioneering companies such as vilisto. Since equipping the main building with self-learning thermostats, we have been continuously saving heating costs, energy and CO2 emissions.
