Project
In the face of the energy crisis, the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg has launched a major project to significantly reduce the heating energy consumption in a considerable part of its building stock before the end of the 2022 heating season. To this end, approximately 10,000 radiators in around 50 predominantly large public buildings are to be hydraulically balanced and then equipped with intelligent thermostats from vilisto.
Result
The properties included in the project scope comprise office and administration buildings, fire and rescue stations, police commissariats, cultural facilities, business parks and university properties with an area of around 1,000 to 20,000 m². The technical implementation will be carried out during ongoing operations without any significant disruption to workflows. Hamburg wants to save up to 30 per cent or 15 gigawatt hours of heating energy per year.
What our partners say:
„In addition to long-term projects within our urban climate plan, in view of the approaching cold season it is now also a matter of immediate measures that have a short-term effect. The project now underway is enormously promising and can make an important contribution to saving energy.“
Our success stories
Our digital heat management is already active in a large number of properties. As you are reading this, it is also saving heating costs and CO2 emissions.
