VSE AG is part of the E.ON Group and a leading infrastructure and energy service provider in the Saarland region. At the E.ON Grid Startup Challenge in November 2020, vilisto, together with VSE AG, won one of the coveted final places and was recognized as a promising solution and innovation. In addition to vilisto, eight other innovative young companies were selected from over 150 applications to subsequently demonstrate the potential of their solutions in pilot projects within the E.ON Group.

Result

At the beginning of 2021, two buildings of the VSE Group in Illingen in Saarland were equipped with our intelligent, thermostat-based individual room control and subsequently heated according to demand. A saving of 25.3% was measured, which is reflected accordingly in the savings of heating costs and of CO2 emissions. In line with the Group’s sustainability strategy, vilisto represents a major step forward in reducing building-related emissions.
