Not only the tense situation on the energy market, but also the missed climate protection targets of the building sector are major challenges, which the city of Worms, however, does not shy away from. In line with the city administration’s climate protection concept, a large-scale immediate measure was implemented: digital thermostats from vilisto now heat the rooms in 23 buildings of the city individually and only as needed. Thanks to 3-sensor technology and self-learning algorithms, they detect room usage and automatically lower the temperature in case of absence.

Result

Durch die intelligente Einzelraumregelung können Energieverbrauch und CO2-Emissionen um 20-30% reduziert werden. Damit leistet Worms einen wichtigen Beitrag zum Klimaschutz und zu den aktuellen Einsparbemühungen. Zu den ausgestatteten Gebäuden zählen diverse Schulen, Verwaltungsgebäude sowie Feuerwachen.
